Keith Urban attempted to focus on the flooding here by talking to someone on CNN, however, in my opinion the interviewer is an idiot. What kind of thing is it to say “You’re so good looking” to Urban at the end of an interview about a disaster in his home town? Urban is quite the hero to me as he minimized his own losses and tried to focus on the big picture. He had a very hard time doing this as the interviewer just kept getting off track. But Keith Urban gave it an honest shot, and my respect for him is very high right now.

LOOK at meMy name is so and so…I know all of you guys want a record deal too, have been working your asses off for it, and spent years trying to get one….and not to mention are more talented than I am.but.well..I’m just gonna tell it like it is…. I read my horoscope this morning and it says you might as well pack up and go home cause it says I deserve a record deal and Im going to be famous!!! Sorry to burst your bubble. LOL. I really felt like it was that way then. So many people were pushing themselves and just.it felt soshallow. I couldnt do it. I knew I loved music, but how do you remain humble but still get to the front for your chance. I felt like it was a bucket full of lobsters. One starts to get out and the others down inside pull it back down. I believed in myself, but I wouldnt use others to get to where I wanted to be. I didnt feel it was right, and I wouldnt sell my character for something. I just wanted to make great music. I was always taught theres plenty of room at …
